Since 2015, Lion Paper has been committed to producing high-quality writing paper products, such as notebooks, planners, calendars, and notepads. Over the years, we have catered to major markets in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. As our business expands, alongside rising customer demands and changing global economic conditions, we made a strategic decision in 2024 to set up our own paper notebook factory in Cambodia.

Planner & Notebook Factory in Cambodia
After our success, we expanded our manufacturing operations to Cambodia in 2024. Our factory is located at LUM STREET, LAND NO 1912, PUN PHNUM VILLAGE, TRAPEANG SAB COMMUNE, BATI DISTRICT, TAKEO PROVINCE, KINGDOM OF CAMBODIA, just 20 minutes from the airport. Spanning 9,000 square meters, the daily production capacity is as follows:
5,000 spiral-bound notebooks/planners
10,000 notepads
5,000 sewn-bound notebooks/planners
The factory is FSC-certified, participates in the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), and complies with Sedex ethical standards. Our production also consistently meets TARGET quality inspection benchmarks.

Why We Chose Cambodia
The primary motivation for establishing production in Cambodia was to proactively adapt to global economic shifts—particularly the continued impact of U.S. tariffs on Chinese exports. By diversifying our manufacturing network, we can maintain competitive pricing and secure a more stable, resilient supply chain for our customers.
While Cambodia is no longer automatically exempt from U.S. import tariffs, many paper products can still benefit from reduced duties under programs like GSP—provided that origin compliance and supporting documentation are properly managed. Our operations in Cambodia are built with this regulatory reality in mind, ensuring full traceability of materials and processing, and helping our clients remain confident in import documentation and customs clearance.
Moreover, as we continue to expand in the paper products industry, we understand the importance of going beyond a single-country sourcing model. By establishing complementary production bases, we enhance supply chain agility, improve risk management, and maintain the consistent quality our customers expect.

Our Sustainability & Social Responsibility
Sustainability and ethical business practices are fundamental to our operations at Lion Paper. Our Cambodian factories comply with rigorous environmental and labor standards, using FSC-certified raw materials and responsible sourcing to reduce environmental impact.

In addition to our focus on sustainability, we are strongly dedicated to the well-being of our employees. We have established a positive and supportive workplace, providing fair compensation, thorough training, and safe working conditions. We take pride in our employees' enjoyment of their roles in our factories, nurturing a culture of teamwork and dedication.

Future Plans
Looking ahead, we plan to further expand our production capacity to meet growing global demand for sustainable paper products. In addition to our current manufacturing bases in Cambodia and China, which focus on high-volume writing products, we are preparing to extend production into additional categories—including gift bags, greeting cards, and wrapping sheets.
We’re also exploring new facility investments in other strategic locations to strengthen our global network. This expansion will enable us to boost production, optimize lead times, and offer even more tailored solutions to our customers worldwide.
Conclusion
As Lion Paper continues to grow, we remain fully committed to delivering high-quality, eco-friendly writing paper products while upholding our values of sustainability, ethical manufacturing, and customer satisfaction. Our Cambodian factory is a key pillar in this mission—providing both flexibility and compliance in an evolving global trade environment. We are continually growing stronger!
